Welcome! I’m Wanda, a children’s author, proud dog mom, and the creator of Benny the Brave: A Story of Love, Loss, and Learning.

My writing journey began with my real-life rescue pup, Benny, whose courage and joyful spirit inspired a story to help children navigate emotions like sadness, bravery, healing, and unconditional love.

As my storytelling grows, I’m excited to share new adventures that explore culture, family, nature, and the beauty of belonging. My upcoming book, Carina and Sabi: A Journey to the Heart of Cidra, celebrates Puerto Rican traditions through a magical friendship and a message of protecting the world around us.

I live in sunny California with my three beloved dogs, Benny, Luna, and Mylo, who fill my home with love, laughter, and endless inspiration.
